Celltech Stem Cell Centre
The stem cell laboratory of Prof. Dr. Deby Vinski in Jakarta, and the clinical and scientific base of the GLS health area: regenerative medicine, cell banking and cord blood preservation.
The laboratory
A closed-system laboratory, inside Vinski Tower
Celltech Stem Cell Centre (CSC) processes and stores stem cells in its own laboratory in South Jakarta. The centre works with a closed-system method, where cells are handled without being exposed to the environment, and applies digital control to verify the number and quality of the cells obtained in each procedure.
Closed system
Processing without environmental exposure, to protect the viability and safety of the cells.
Digital quality control
Cell count and quality verified with digital technology for every batch.
Own cell bank
Long-term storage of stem cells and cord blood in the centre’s own bank.
Clinical areas
Consultation and private areas, with logistics support for international patients.
What the centre does
Four lines of work
Autologous stem cell treatment
Procedures using the patient’s own cells, always subject to medical assessment.
Quantum autologous stem cells
The centre’s own protocol, presented at the WOCPM congresses.
Cord blood collection and preservation
Collection at birth and storage for the family, following the process described below.
Stem cell banking
Long-term preservation of cells for future use, with digital traceability.
Informative content. Any procedure depends on medical assessment and on the regulation of each country. GLS does not provide medical services and does not promise clinical results.
Cord blood
Preserving the cord blood of a newborn
Cord blood is collected from the umbilical cord at birth. It contains haematopoietic progenitor cells, able to develop into different blood cell types, and it is used in transplant medicine. Compared with bone marrow, cord blood does not require a 100% donor match, which widens the number of patients who can receive it and shortens the search for a compatible donor.
- Register
Contact the centre to arrange a consultation. If the birth is four to six weeks away, registration should start immediately so every step is ready in time.
- Receive your personal kit
After registration, the family receives a personalised collection kit with everything needed to collect the cord blood.
- Inform your obstetrician
Tell your gynaecologist or obstetrician that the collection is registered with the centre.
- Take the kit to the hospital
Bring the kit on the day of the birth and hand it to the medical team. Once mother and baby are well, the team collects the cord blood and the cord and returns them to the kit.
- Collection by the laboratory team
After the birth, the courier collects the kit and the family is notified once the sample arrives at the laboratory.
Accreditation and network
Accreditations, universities and clinical partners
The centre states accreditation by the World Council for Preventive, Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine (WOCPM) and GMP certification for its laboratory processes.
